What is Burning Heart?
A webcomic that began in September 2008 when three artists decided to make stuff explode. It's about college students whose lives intertwine to create friendships, romances, enemies, popcorn, and the wreaking of the cosmos.

April’s thirst for new friendships and adventure has led her to Montgomery University. She enjoys flowers, sweet foods, and the good looking boys on campus. |

Archer Marks
Age 19; sophomore; double majoring in Literature and Political Science.
Intelligent and elegant, Archer is the sharply dressed manager of The Bean Machine Café where he is sometimes known as the “Ebony Knight.” His hobbies are reading, writing, and playing RPG’s. |

Ben Elliot
Age 19; freshman; Literature.
Ben sometimes comes off as a pushover and has trouble talking to girls. He’s an openhearted young man with dreams of becoming a famous writer. His signature feature is his valued yellow scarf.

Bonovan Bulkley
Age 21; freshman; Veterinarian.
A burly man with nerves of steel who believes his responsability as a man is more important than his very life. Bonovan is childhood friends with a biker girl named "Pitsop Puddin’" and hasn't heard from her until their reunion at Montgomery University years later.

Jade Sheen
Age 21; senior; Culinary Arts.
A pastry chef with a biting tongue, Jade is cynical and blunt with everyone she meets. She lives in the Cerulean Hall dormitory and gets around Muffin Town on her spiffy scooter.

Jonathan Staedler
Age 19; freshman; Graphic Design.
Jonathan is Ben’s roommate at the Crimson Hall dormitories. He always has his eyes peeled for the next beautiful woman and lives life his own way, playing games and sleeping late, sometimes at the detriment of his well-being.

Age 19; freshman; Accounting minor in Fashion Design.
Patricia "Pitstop Puddin’" Wong was born into a wealthy family and is a former member of a motorcycle gang. Bubbly and assertive, this Chinese girl makes her own destiny. |
